The client: Develo Design is a specialist web development agency based in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. With a focus on e-commerce and the Magento platform, they are specialists in Punchout integrations, SAP, B2B and large catalogues.
The project: Rockfine met founder Luke Collymore through the WMCA Creative Scale-Up Programme where he first got a taste of how the Rockfine team works through their facilitation of his peer group sessions. Develo was aiming to scale up from being a one person operation to bring in colleagues to allow the company to grow, delivering contract work for key clients while having capacity to take on new business opportunities.
How Rockfine supported: BD Dalton, Strategic Director for Rockfine Group, helped guide Luke as Develo landed substantial website contracts for national and global companies. BD supported Luke in putting in place service level agreements (SLAs) to provide recurring revenues while developing the capacity to get project and new business work when it arose. The creation of new systems allowed Develo to transition to grow its client base, revenues and profits.
