The Bullring Club is proud to work with some of the region’s leading figures in business to host the virtual entrepreneurs showcase during these unprecedented times. The Bullring Showcase held on 18th Sept brought together an illustrious talent pool consisting of growth specialists, entrepreneurs and start-ups amongst the attendees and pitchers. This was our 4th virtual showcase so far and we are so proud to offer a platform for Birmingham’s vast start-up ecosystem to show off their business and make meaningful connections..

Insightful, Entertaining, and a room full of opportunities!

Five exciting ventures were brave enough to pitch their investment opportunity to our panel of Bulls. From Agri-tech to consumer goods, Legal to Computer education, The Bullring hosted a diverse group of founders to showcase their investment opportunity. The panel comprised of international business legends. The Bulls included Founding member of Warner Bros Entertainment, Spencer Crossley, Global Mentor at SOSV, Alan Clayton, The Bulls aimed to-the-point questions and gave their no-bull nous to the companies pitching.

Dejan Mitrovic, Founder of Bulkify, pitched in the Bullring. He said “Pitching in the Bullring was a great experience. The instant feedback given by the audience and Bulls gave a clear indication of how my pitch was received”

B.D. Dalton, Founder of the Bullring said “The Bullring made some amazing steps forward today in providing a stage for up and coming businesses to show off their business to a group of industry leaders during these unpresented times. My vision for The Bullring is to make entrepreneurship seem exciting, without the illusion of simplicity. With every showcase, we are getting closer to this vision.”

The atmosphere at The Bullring was electric and our attendees actively engaged throughout the event by voting on whether the pitch was investa-bull or not as well as engaging in during Q&A! A vast majority of our attendees found the pitch well structured and understood the ask. A large part of this success can be credited to Mike Pagan who worked with the founders during our Pitch Practice Perfect sessions and guided them to deliver the best pitch.
